As part of a group of GP Practices working together as a GP Federation, Callowland Surgery provides access to weekday evening and weekend appointments in the Watford Extended Access (WEA) service, which is managed by Direct Local Health Ltd.
Our patients can now make an appointment to see a GP on weekday evenings, Saturdays, 9am-1pm and 3pm-7pm, and Sundays, 9am-1pm; to see a Nurse on Saturdays, 9am-1pm and to have blood tests with a Phlebotomist on Saturdays and Sundays.

During these appointments your health record may be accessed and viewed by clinical staff other than your GP or a GP at your practice.

A&E is for absolute emergencies and accidents only.
Watford GPs are now working together to provide pre-bookable GP and blood test appointments at the weekend through an organisation called Watford Care Alliance.
These appointments may be at another surgery with a GP other than your own.
In these appointments your health record may be accessed and viewed by the clinical staff other than your registered GP or a GP at your practice.
We offer extended opening hours on the following days:

This service is only available for pre-booked appointments and is predominantly for patients who find it difficult to attend the surgery during normal opening hours.
